ArcIMS Emulator - MS4W Install Notes

Tested with MS4W 1.6 and 2.x

• Unzip package to same root as MS4W base
• Double click the /ms4w/apache-restart.bat file
• Navigate to http://localhost/servlet/com.esri.esrimap.Esrimap
  • You will get a "Fatal parsing error"
  • Edit /ms4w/apps/imsemu-0.4/Esrimap.cfg and add your mapfiles
• Test your IMS:
  • "Add ArcIMS Server": http://localhost on ArcCatalog
  • or "WWW - Add Web Site": http://localhost on ArcExplorer Java
